MOTUL Transoil Expert 10W-40. Application. It is specially made for transmissions with wet clutches which require other oil than it is used in engines, i.e. engine crankcases and transmissions are separate. Transmissions used in severe conditions: competitions, high temperatures, heavy loads... All high-power motorcycles, road, off-road, cross, enduro, mopeds, scooters, quadricycles. It is used if manufacturers recommend SAE 10W-40 motor oils or SAE 80 transmission oils. Features. Technosynthese oils are enhanced with a synthetic base stock. It makes gear shifting very easy. Very high resistance to extreme conditions (pressure, temperature) thanks to a high grade of high-temperature viscosity SAE 40. It is enhanced with special additives for toothed gears. It efficiently prevents chain slipping. Dispersive properties keep the clutch clean. It sustains extreme pressures, it is anti-wear. It has anti-corrosive and anti-foaming properties. Recommendations. The oil is changed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations or your own use depending on the operation conditions. Standards: API GL4
