Synthetic low-ash oil (Low SAPS) is intended first of all for use in diesel engines with or without a soot filter and gasoline engines with catalytic converters of exhaust gases. The oil peculiarity is low sulfated ash content and higher high-temperature viscosity (SAE W40) than that of standard Low SAPS (SAE 30) which allows to use the oil in autos with higher mileage. When designing Dynamic TDI, tendencies in modern engine construction were considered.
