DURON™ XL SYNTHETIC BLEND heavy duty motor oils are premium motor oils recommended for equipment operating in both on-road and off-road heavy duty service applications. DURON XL Synthetic Blend motor oils simplify operations in mixed fleets of global origin. The have the soot dispersing capability required by low emission engine designs up to the 2007 model year and earlier (for equipment with exhaust after-treatment, DURON-E products are recommended). DURON XL Synthetic Blend motor oils are suitable for use in engines powered by diesel, gasoline, propane, or compressed natural gas (CNG), where applications specify their respective API values. DURON XL Synthetic Blend motor oils can be used in Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel (4-speed), Navistar International, Allis-Chalmers, Case IH, Deere, Fiat-Allis, White, DAF, Deutz, Continental, Hino, Komatsu, Perkins, Izusu, Volvo and others where the emission values before 2007 are recommended. Gasoline engines. DURON XL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 and 10W-40 motor oils can be used gasoline engines meeting the API SL and earlier specifications. DURON XL Synthetic Blend 0W-30 can be used where compliance with the specification is required. Details - in your owner’s manual. All grades may be used in certain natural gas powered autos and stationary equipment. Check your owner’s manual for specific engine oil requirements. DURON XL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 may be used in diesel-powered stationary and marine systems where an SAE 15W-40 diesel motor oil is specified and water separation is not required.
