Description
DURON™ -E API CJ-4 MOTOR OILS FOR APPLICATIONS IN SEVERE CONDITIONS. The first-class multi-purpose motor oils of Petro-Canada DURON-E series ensure excellent protection from negative impacts of soot accumulation: from the increased engine wear to reduced performance and fuel consumption. They exceed the requirements of API CJ-4 and suit the newest low-emission engines meeting 2010 EPA. Such engines are equipped with the newest exhaust gas after-treatment systems, e.g. DPF (diesel particulate filter), with or without a DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), EGR (exhaust gas recovery), they have enhanced performance and SCR (selective catalytic reduction). The motor oils for severe conditions DURON-E are suitable for diesel engines operating on the fuel with low and extra-low sulfur content. DURON-E can be also used in the older engines manufactured before 2007 and where the oils meeting API CI-4 Plus, CI-4, CH-4 are required. DURON-E is made of the purest base oils produced by the HT purity process technology which enables to get the initial oils purified on 99.9%. This purification level allows to achieve the maximum efficiency of the additive system and chemical composition of the oil to enhance its soot dispersing property. DURON-E formula is designed based on the most stringent API oil quality standards for 4-stroke diesel and gasoline engines and ideally suitable for use in the engines with the extended service time. The oil change interval extension is allowed only if there is sufficient experience and prepared maintenance programs, including the programs of regular oil analysis. DURON-E 10W-30 is characterized by enhanced soot dispersing and can ensure the protection level equal to DURON-E 15W-40 in any weather conditions. This oil can reduce fuel consumption on 1%†. It complies with CJ-4/SN characteristics at 10W-30 viscosity grade and protects catalytic converters and filters in the exhaust system.
